These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of meeting.cash, including our website, calculator tools, and related services. By using meeting.cash, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By accessing or using meeting.cash ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. Description of Service

meeting.cash is a free web-based calculator designed to help users track and calculate the cost of meetings in real-time. The Service allows you to:

  • Enter meeting attendee counts and hourly rates
  • Track elapsed meeting time and accumulated costs
  • Use preset attendee groups based on industry averages
  • Share meeting cost summaries
  • Store meeting history locally in your browser

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require account creation or user authentication. All calculation data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

3. No Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

meeting.cash does not warrant that:

  • The Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service or servers are free of viruses or harmful components
  • Calculations or results will be accurate, reliable, or complete
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

You acknowledge that meeting cost calculations depend entirely on the accuracy of hourly rates and attendee counts you provide. We do not guarantee the accuracy of preset values or calculations based on user input.

4. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or any connected systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access or collect data from the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Overload our infrastructure with excessive requests or attempts to circumvent technical limitations

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these Terms, including removing content, suspending or terminating access to the Service, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, meeting.cash and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
  • Errors or inaccuracies in calculations or data
  • Business decisions made based on information provided by the Service

In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to use the Service in the past twelve months, whichever is greater. Since the Service is free, this typically means our liability is limited to one hundred dollars.

6. No Guarantee of Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or without interruption. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict availability of all or any part of the Service for business or operational reasons. We are not liable if the Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.

7. Right to Modify Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Service without notice or liability.

  • Interpreting and using calculation results appropriately
  • Making independent business decisions based on calculation results
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of any sensitive salary or rate information you enter
  • Understanding that meeting costs include many factors beyond direct time costs
  • Verifying calculations independently if used for critical business decisions
  • Your device security and browser data, where meeting history is stored

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by meeting.cash and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without explicit permission.

10. Termination Rights

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Since meeting data is stored locally in your browser, termination does not result in data deletion unless you clear your browser data. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services including Google Analytics for usage analytics and Google AdSense for advertising. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties. Your use of these third-party services is at your own risk. 12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless meeting.cash and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intent.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and meeting.cash regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and meeting.cash.
